1st August is Yorkshire Day, which will this year see the launch of The Valley Press Anthology of Yorkshire Poetry. Edited by adopted Yorkshiremen Miles Salter and Oz Hardwick, it features established poets, up-and-coming poets, and unclassifiable poets, musing upon and celebrating ‘God’s Own Country.’ The book will be launched at The Basement, City Screen, York, at 8.00pm on 1st August, with readings by Antony Dunn, Miles Salter, Oz Hardwick, &, &, & … and a little bit of live music, too!
